Ukraine Stories Update
We are closing out the dog days of summer and as many of you might have noticed, it has been a little quiet here at Ukraine Stories. Never fear however, we are still hard at work developing stories as the year presses on and the situation in Ukraine shifts and changes. We thought that we would share a few brief updates as we get ready for the Fall.
The Updates!
Val Stutz has headed to Germany for his Fulbright grant and is currently getting settled. He will be covering many aspects of the conflict from there and much of his research is connected to the work we are doing here on the Substack. His initial posting in Ukraine had, not surprisingly, been canceled due to the war, but after a huge amount of tenacity and work, he was able to rework his proposal and will have some incredibly exciting pieces up soon.
We have also partnered with the RPCV Alliance for Ukraine and will soon be developing and sharing work with them. Be sure to check out their website. They are doing some very exciting work! There are also a number of opportunities to donate to organizations helping with the refugee effort.
We will also have a new “Case Studies in Caring” series coming out in the next week tied to some of the amazing work that Friends of Moldova has been doing since February.
Thanks again for your patience this summer. We will be back at things very soon!
